Unless you're down on your luck or you're the most frugal person you know of personally, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. Even more so if you're a female or have children. The reviews on Hotels.com were over a 7 out of 10 which was fairly impressive. I didn't think to look at the true Google reviews, which I regret. I arrived and there was nobody in the lobby of the hotel. The door was locked and there was a sloppily written note informing someone would eventually be back. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was given my keys that would reveal a room that looks like it should have been condemned and was filled with cigarette odor (non-smoking room). Luckily, there was one room left with different style beds. It didn't smell of cigarettes, but needed almost as much help physically. Carpet that should have been replaced years ago, window curtains for comforters (with lovely cigarette burn marks) on the beds, holes and the worst repair jobs ever scattered throughout, shower curtain rod that was about to fall out of the wall, a toilet that was no longer secured to the ground, a missing security latch from the door, a random big crawling on me whilst in bed, towels made out of 80 grit sandpaper, a fridge that provided room temperature service, and shady looking characters lurking outside their doors after the sun went down. Again, unless you're really pinching pennies or it's the best you can currently afford, I would avoid at all costs.

Dirty with trash all over the property, sidewalks, stairwells. Multiple dead bugs and other debris on the floor in our room. Stained & dripping tub, tiles coming loose and areas with no paint left, etc. Beds were very worn out and saggy with quilted mattress covers trying to make up for it. Beds and linens appeared clean.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. One of the best things about the location is how convenient it is. We were within walking distance of so many places, which made getting around easy and allowed us to enjoy the area without constantly having to drive. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and you could tell that the property is taken care of. Breakfast was another nice part of our stay. The breakfast area was very clean and organized, and there were plenty of choices to satisfy everyone. Everything was well stocked, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out. We also really appreciated the overall atmosphere of the area. We felt safe and comfortable walking around, and the surrounding neighborhood was welcoming and convenient. Overall, we had a very positive experience. Between the friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, safe surroundings, and excellent location, this was a great place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again on a future visit and would gladly recommend it to family and friends.
